This little gas engine powered locomotive was actualy used along Algoma Central Railway to transport forestry workers. An american company called 'Newaygo Timber Company Ltd' had a main office in Port Arthur (old name for a part of today's Thunder Bay) and operated several lumber mills since the turn of the century until 1984. Today it transports delighed children along the beutiful river bank.

@Lorraine: Hi Lorraine, ...yeah, from up close it realy did look cute. And thanks you for caring, Lorraine, it means a lot. I realy do visit other sites and comment, it just takes time, I guess... besides, I just started few weeks ago. But I'm not concerned about it too much, whatever comes it comes, I'm doing it more for myself, to see if I improve over time, and just finding one good soul like you is enogh.
cheers Roman
